JW

JW is Matt's 12 year old son. Last night, 1/3/10, he was walking past a propane tank and somehow caught fire. He lives in WV and was rushed up to the burn unit at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He seems to be doing much better than he was when we originally arrived last night, even got in so air hockey today. He will need skin graft surgery but we won't know until tomorrow whether he will have surgery Wednesday or Thursday. Here's a photo:



Looks pretty bad, eh? He seems to be feeling well so thats a good thing so I'm hoping the grafting won't be too invasive.

So, 2010 is kinda off to a sucky start.
